Invited to be artist in residence at Traon Nevez, Brittany, in April. Moving soon to a new studio (previously a squash court!) on the Marchmont estate in the Scottish Borders.

September
Producing a painting for the cover of the Under One Sky CD from John McCusker, out in 2009.

March
Bought a camper van to head off to Berlin and East Germany in May. Asked to write the 'Art Words' for Homes and Interiors Scotland - look out for the May edition. Preparing for the Harrogate exhibition in the wonderful 108 Fine Art gallery.

November
Article in the Glasgow Herald by Jan Patience - "Never have paintings with names such as Old Joiners Shed Greenlaw, Disused Cinema Bradford, Broken Streetlights and Silage Pit seemed more appealing."

Working as artist in residence for Morris & Spottiswood in Glasgow.

September
Re-charging the batteries in the Watchie at Catterline for a month's residency. Meanwhile, new Anna King paintings can be seen in September at the Gallery Heinzel and Mellerstain exhibitions.

June
Awarded an Anna Miller Scholarship. Winner of the inaugural Jolomo Lloyds TSB Award 2007 at a ceremony in the Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh, on Thursday 21st June.

May
The Jolomo Lloyds TSB Awards: Exhibition of Shorlisted Entrants is to be previewed on 31 May, with the exhibition running from 1 June - 17 June at The Atrium, Lloyds TSB Scotland, 120 George Street, Edinburgh. Opening times: 9.30-4.30 (Mon-Fri) and 9.00-6.00 (Sat/Sun).

April
Gallery Heinzel will be exhibiting new Anna King work at the Glasgow Art Fair. Press night is on Wed 18th and the fair runs until Sunday 22nd.

February
Shortlisted for the Jolomo Lloyds TSB Scotland Awards 2007. Open Eye solo show "Peripheral Places" was a sell-out!

2006

November
Gallery Heinzel Christmas show opens on 17th November, with 4 Catterline paintings included. Open Eye Christmas show opens on December 2nd with 4 works in the small-scale section.

September
Opening night for Castlegait Gallery solo show (Montrose) now confirmed as Friday 20th October 7 - 9 pm.

June
Solo show at the Byre Theatre, St Andrews. Preview on 28 June at 5.30 - 7.00 pm and show runs until 24 July.

April
Following on from a very successful Glasgow Art Fair, four new paintings from the Catterline residency are exhibited in the Wall Projects mixed show at Castlegait Gallery, Montrose, from 23 April.

March
Living and painting for a month in the Watchie studio at Catterline, the cliff-top village where Joan Eardley and Lil Neilson lived and worked. Read about the "artists' village"' of Catterline.

February
Dates confirmed for solo show in the Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh, for Jan-Feb 2007.

2005

November
Invited to exhibit in the Open Eye Gallery "A Tale of Two Cities" exhibition, 7 January - 25 January 2006.

October
Invited to paint in Joan Eardley's old artist studio, the Watch House, at Catterline near Aberdeen. Arranged for March 2006.

30 September - 5 November
